C onveniently located next to St. Francis Regis Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery in Arnaudville. The property originally belonged to A. B. deBoisblanc, Sr., who operated a barbershop on this site. A. B. "Beau" deBoisblanc, Jr. married Marie Florine Melancon, initiating the expansion of Melancon Funeral Home into Arnaudville.

With the funeral home located next door to the church, it eliminates the need to use a hearse and limousines, resulting in substantial savings to the family on funeral cost. The funeral home has two parlors for the convenience of families.
