Memorial services for Donald James Knott, age 47, who passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette will be held at a date and time pending. Mr. Knott was a native of Arnaudville and a lifelong resident of Leonville. He was a parishioner of St. Leo the Great Church.

Survivors include one son, Donald Trahan, of Opelousas; one brother, Steven Prejean and his wife, Pamela, of Henderson; one sister Sharon Zerangue and Lonnie, of Cecila; four nephews, Joshua, Jeremy, Joseph, and Stevie, two nieces, Raven and Abbie, and one very close friend Chief Joseph Noel III.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adley Joseph Knott and the former Shirley Ann Taylor; one brother, Ronald Knott; and one sister Phyllis Soileau.
