Steve was an avid motorcycle enthusiasts and drag racer along with his son Chris.
From his "brother" Keith: Going to the motorcycle races with Steve was an experience and a mini vacation all on its own. He held a rock star type attraction to people that baffled him. He never understood how magnetic his personality was, drawing people to him like a moth to a flame. Always a kind word or laugh, he went through the crowds speaking to racers and their friends like he was family. From the Christian Motorcycle Association to hard core one percenters, he was welcomed to their camp as family.
May the sun rise in front of you, The rain fall behind you, And the wind follow you. May the angels guard your way, For they know the road ahead, And may you always ride in peace.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
