Mr. Guillory was a native of Eunice and a resident of the Sunset/Carencro area for the last thirty years. He was a graduate of Eunice High School Class of 1973 and graduated from T.H. Harris in Industrial Electronics Technology with group 16 in 1976 with a 1st class F.C.C. License. He was employed with Gulf States Utilities/Entergy as a Telecommunications Specialist, 1st class for the past 30 years.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his high school sweetheart of 35 years the former Doris Guidry Guillory, from Sunset, his son, Christopher and his wife Tonya and their two precious children Kaylee and Landon Guillory of Maurice and his beloved daughter Amy Guillory from Sunset, his loving mother, the former Marie Merita McGee Guillory; three sisters, Pat G. Dossman and her husband David, Susan G. Gaspard of Eunice and Frances G. Christensen and her husband Chuck of Oklahoma City, OK.

He was preceded in death by his father AI Wilson Guillory, paternal grandparents A.L. "Pat" and Maude Alice Mixon Guillory, maternal grandparents Maxim Marius and Agnes Frederick McGee; one nephew, Nicholas Karlin and one niece Holly Guillory.

Steve was an avid motorcycle enthusiasts and drag racer along with his son Chris.

From his "brother" Keith: Going to the motorcycle races with Steve was an experience and a mini vacation all on its own. He held a rock star type attraction to people that baffled him. He never understood how magnetic his personality was, drawing people to him like a moth to a flame. Always a kind word or laugh, he went through the crowds speaking to racers and their friends like he was family. From the Christian Motorcycle Association to hard core one percenters, he was welcomed to their camp as family.

May the sun rise in front of you, The rain fall behind you, And the wind follow you. May the angels guard your way, For they know the road ahead, And may you always ride in peace.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

The family request that the visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and will continue from 8:00 a.m. until the service time on Monday.
