Julius Noel

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Liturgy of the Word in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Julius Noel , age 77, who passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 11:07 a.m. at his summer home in Wimauma Florida.
Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Lafayette. The Rev. James L. Lambert, S.J., pastor of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.

Mr. Noel was born in Rosa resided in Melville and moved to the Arnaudville/Sunset area where he has lived since 1960. He retired in 1998 as a supervisor from T.L. James Construction with thirty four years of service. He was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Mr. Noel was a veteran of the military having served in the United States Army. He passed away at his summer home in Wimauma, Florida where he was getting ready to leave for a cruise, which he loved to do.
Survivors include his wife of forty nine years, Gert Noel; one brother, Bobby Noel and his wife, Diana, of Krotz Springs; three sisters, Doris N. Plaisance and her husband, Herbert, of Lockport, Claudia N. Fayette and her husband, Earlis of Lockport; and Margie Popps Robin and her husband, Bob, of Port Barre; four nieces; five nephews; and one brother in law, Howard Noel, Jr. of Arnaudville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Joseph Noel and the former Theresa Credeur, both natives of Melville.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. Friday until service time on Friday.
